Retreat Amenities
Camp Carl offers excellent retreat amenities for our guest groups. Whether you’re a youth group, an adult retreat, or corporate ministry, these unique challenging experiences will add the element of fun your group is looking for with no extra cost! For student ministries, these activities create an environment of togetherness that is incredibly uplifting. When you speak with our staff to customize your retreat, make sure to plan your time with some unforgettable amenities to your schedule!
Don’t forget to the just enjoy the peace and quiet at Camp Carl. We have lots of areas to just sit in silence or enjoy togetherness in our RED adirondack chairs and hammocks made just for this reason!

Sports Field
Looking for an area for a game of capture the flag or a safe area for a large group to run around? Say no more-we have it all and more! Our sports field area doesn’t just have a soccer field and sports field for other team sports but also includes the following:

- Cornhole
- Spike ball
- Can-Jam
- Frisbees and footballs
Playground Area
The playground area is at the center of it all. Whether your in between sessions or use this area as an open activity this area is always a favorite at Camp Carl. The memories of ultra-ball and photos on the “Big Red Chair” are sure to be a favorite!

The Wheels
A new amenity provided in Fall 2021 are the OneWheels! Camp Carl are sure to be a crowd favorite. The Wheels Garage also provides all your needs for biking around the Camp Carl property. Must wear a helmet for both bikes and OneWheels at all times.
Disc Golf
Whether your a novice or a pro you will enjoy the skill of disc golf! This is a great way to build confidence as you work to score a basket with your disc. This sport is a great option for individual or team building as you can work together as a team to score the highest points. Camp Carl has 9 baskets from beginning to advanced holes. We provide the discs with carrying bags and maps but you are welcome to bring your own if you desire.
The Lake
Did you know Camp Carl owns an 2-acre lake? If you have never been canoeing or stood on a paddle board before this is sure to be a favorite! Enjoy God’s creation on our peaceful lake that also has a dock, a “Big Red Chair,” and a sand beach to lounge and hang out. Lifejackets must be worn at all times while out on the water.

Nature Trails
Camp Carl provides over 2 miles of trails to enjoy on our 315+ acre property. The trails also provide places to rest and enjoy quiet time along the trail path.

Campfires
Camp Carl provides a firepit with a firewood box at every housing facility that can be used anytime during your stay. Ask your retreat host before your stay to have them started for you at no extra cost! We have a couple firepit locations that can also be used for large groups; talk to your host about these accommodations.

Camp Store
Did you know Camp Carl has a general store? Be sure to check out The Camp Carl General Store during your stay or even schedule a time with your host during your retreat. Share your love of Camp Carl with our personalized gear that can only be found at our store!
The Snack Shop accommodates your sweet tooth with your favorite candy and drinks! Be sure to ask your host about having the snack shop open during your activities. This is a crowd favorite with the youth groups!

Ninja Course
Put your skills to the test on our new Ninja Course. Ninjas of all sizes are welcome to test their agility, strength, speed and coordination while maneuvering through different obstacles.
This course will be sure test your strength, agility, patience and your drive. Think you can complete it? This is a great amenity for team building and unity. Adult supervision required for kids under 12 to help with spotting.
Giant Hammock
Camp Carl provides a a one-of-a-kind hammock for your whole group to enjoy! This is a fun amenity to use to go star-gazing as a cabin or group at night. Enjoy, relax and unwind in the four anchor point hammock made out of rope that is suspended 15-feet in the air! Adult supervision required.
