Volunteer Positions:
Help Sunday Check-In run smoothly by volunteering to help during our busiest time of the week! You might be helping to tag and move luggage, assisting our admin team to check in campers, greeting parents, or giving directions to vehicles.
Specific positions include:
- Collecting & labeling camper mail
- Helping with camper check-in
- Assisting in the General Store
- Parking team
- Luggage Handler
- Vehicle Greeter
Some jobs may involve moving heavy luggage or being outside in the sun.
Every Sunday 3:30pm to 6pm
Do you want to help feed our campers and staff? Volunteer in the kitchen, helping us to prepare and serve meals for camp!
For this position we are looking for all day volunteers, at least once a week.
Shifts are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday
If you are detail-oriented and organized, volunteering with our admin staff might be a good fit for you! Volunteering time throughout the week, you could help with tasks relating to the current week of camp or help to prepare for the next round of campers! This would be a one day a week commitment.
Specific Tasks include:
- Sorting camper mail
- Delivering daily camper mail
- Sorting and labeling tribe shirts
Shifts are available Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday
Help us keep camp open and safe for campers and staff by volunteering on our sanitation team! This summer cleaning and disinfecting will be a crucial part of how we operate.
Shifts available between 10am and 3pm, Monday through Thursday
One essential element we offer to make day camp more accessible to families is offering morning and evening shuttles. Volunteer to drive vans full of excited day campers to and from camp! This job is sure to put a smile on your face! Must be at least 21 and have a valid driver’s license.
Morning shifts available 7am to 9am, Monday through Thursday
Evening shifts available 4:30pm to 7pm, Monday through Thursday
Do you love being near water? You might want to consider volunteering as a camp boat driver! This position involves driving campers around West Branch State Park and pulling them on a tube behind the boat. Must be at least 21 and have experience driving a boat and a valid license. There are morning or afternoon shifts available.
Shifts are 9am to 12:30pm or 2:30 to 6pm, Monday through Thursday
If you enjoy working with your hands and building things, this might be the position for you! Volunteer with our maintenance team to make sure camp runs smoothly throughout the week. This position may include repairs, construction projects, lawn maintenance, and more! We are looking for individuals with specific skill sets and access to their own tools and equipment.
Specific Positions Below:
Small Engine Maintenance & Repair
- Repair and maintain Camp chainsaws, blowers, mowers, and trimmers
- Hours as needed
- Specific skills and experience necessary
Machine Maintenance
- Help to digitalize machine/vehicle maintenance manuals and record
- Keep machine inventory and books
- Maintain machines/vehicles
- Machines & vehicles include: trucks, tractors, skid steers, loader, bulldozer, Gator
- This position can start ASAP
- Specific skills and experience necessary
Heavy Machine Operator
- Licensed and experienced operator of bulldozer, loader, and excavator
- Hours as needed or once a week
Grounds Maintenance
- Grass trimming and edging
- Trail maintenance, including clearing brush, rocks and trimming branches
- landscaping/mulch bed maintenance
- 2-4 hour shifts available
- No experience necessary
This position involves helping and teaching equine campers horse skills. We are looking for individuals who are knowledgeable, skilled riders, and have significant equestrian experience.
