ABUNDANCE: CALLED TO MORE.
Come experience a break from the routine and celebrate life in a whole new way. Let your adventurous side breath, whether that comes from a high flight in the giant swing or the challenge of sharing a bunk room. Pause your daily routine to explore nature. Come alongside and connect with other women as we seek to immerse ourselves in God’s presence.
“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
Proverbs 37:4
JENNIFER HOFFMAN
MEET OUR
GUEST SPEAKER!
Jennifer Hoffman is a local mom with a heart for Jesus. As a licensed professional counselor with a background in Marriage and Family Therapy, she has had speaking opportunities in Time Out for Mom’s, a Chapel conference on reconciliation, and has provided premarital counseling. Jennifer has spent the last decade as a stay-at-home mom and developing artist. She will be returning to the field of counseling in the fall.
Mom Weekend will be an opportunity for women to set aside time and consider the abundant life God has offered us. Through chapels and journal time, women will explore personal values, a balanced life, healthy relationships, and most importantly rest. We will take time to connect with God and develop personal habits in reading the Bible.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
You spend your days accommodating others, so let us take care of you! Bring your friends or come alone to soak in the beauty and stillness of Creation.
Campers will be able to select up to three activities that will be extra, but not mandatory. These include boating, the giant swing, zipline, horseback riding, creating flower-pressed art, and painting. See more details below!
Join us in worship and a biblical message about the abundant life God has for us. You will leave refreshed and recharged!

MOM CAMP FAQ:
- Where is Mom Camp?
Camp Carl is a hidden gem in Ravenna, Ohio. Positioned on over 300 acres, it boasts lakeside views, quiet ponds, and a canopy of trees. We pride ourselves in offering amenities and accommodations that are updated as needed and given great care. Our staff is friendly and willing to offer assistance, as needed.
- Sounds nice, but I’m an introvert. Will I have alone time?
Great question! Aside from meals and seminars, you decide your level of involvement. You will be free to take advantage of the gorgeous property or catch up on sleep. This event is for the quiets and the crazies, so we encourage you to find your place here. - Who is this for?
This camp is for moms that are 18 years and older. There is no age limit after that! The activity level is up to each camper, so we ask that individuals consider their personal health and daily needs before participating. Bring hiking/tennis shoes for activities such as hiking, running, zip-lining, and swinging.
CAMP FAQ:
- What do I need to bring?
Once you’re signed up, we’ll send you a full packing list through email. The short version is: one bag and one small backpack filled with your clothes, swimsuit, water bottle, toiletries, and closed toed-shoes. Don’t forget your Bible, bug spray, and sunscreen! - I’m more of a glamper. Where will we sleep?
Let’s be honest, this IS camp. We are able to accommodate campers with handicap ramps and handicap showers, if needed. Every building offers restrooms and showers. Some of the buildings have air conditioning. All housing is first come first served, so be sure to sign up early to secure our most comfortable options! - What if it rains?
Then we’ll probably get wet and muddy, but we DO have showers! All joking aside, Camp Carl offers indoor activities and options for the fickle nature of Ohio weather. Feel free to bring a book, games, or enjoy journal time in one or our many cozy corners.
